Meet the Founder: A Certified Franchise Consultant and Former Franchise Owner
Todd Stein: Franchise Consultant, Founder, and Dallas Franchise Expert
Todd Stein’s path to franchise ownership began early working in his family’s camera and video stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. From stocking shelves to helping customers, he gained a firsthand appreciation for small business ownership and entrepreneurship. He worked summers throughout high school and college, eventually managing a store after graduation, just before the family business was sold.
Todd went on to build a successful 25+ year career at top Dallas advertising agencies, leading national marketing campaigns and sponsorships for major brands like AT&T, GameStop, Cisco, Pepsi, Pizza Hut, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Yankees. Alongside his career, he volunteered extensively with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Though he loved his career, Todd never stopped thinking about owning his own business. He spent over a decade researching franchise opportunities often feeling overwhelmed by choices and unsure of the right path. Eventually, with guidance from a franchise consultant, he found his fit: a fast-casual restaurant franchise he owned and operated successfully for five years.
That experience changed everything.
Today, as a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFC), Todd helps others navigate what can be an emotional and financially significant decision with clarity, empathy, and structure. He combines his background in marketing and brand strategy with industry expertise in franchising to provide expert guidance throughout the discovery process.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Todd works with clients nationwide including corporate professionals, career changers, veterans, and investors all exploring franchise ownership as a path to freedom, flexibility, or a second act. From franchise consulting in DFW to personalized franchise coaching, Todd’s role is to be your franchise coach for first-time owner success and long-term growth.
Outside of work, Todd as a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFC) serves as president of the University of Arizona DFW alumni chapter, and enjoys photography, sports, live music, and travel. He lives in Dallas with his wife and their two dogs, Frankie and Zona.
